Job Summary
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
